These drop directly into the Dunlop mini wah housing with a very small amount of work. Below is the steps that need to be taken to modify your existing mini to fit the new Wilson board. Remove the nut on the exterior of the foot switch under the toe of the pedal. Remove the nuts in the input and output jacks. Remove the silver Phillips screw from the board inside the enclosure. Unplug the potentiometer from the board. With the pedal in the toe up position remove the existing circuit board and switch. Referring to the pictures in this posting, file down or drill out the small switch retainer where the foot switch is mounted. Remove the existing felt pad and install the new one included in the kit. Insert the new board with the pedal in the toe up position. Mount the board with the 2 new jack nuts first, then insert the Phillips screw you removed from the old board. (I often put a piece of electric tape or duct tape over the screw under the board just in case it should come in contact with the board. The new foot switch should be mounted horizontally (hence the reason for filing the retaining clip) to avoid contact with the potentiometer. Typically the inner nut should be all the way down and the washers can be mounted on the exterior with the external nut. Plug the potentiometer into the new board socket. Plug pedal in and adjust the internal trimmers to your liking. Mount bottom plate. Peel off the Cry Baby nameplate. Using some contact cement apply your new Wilson Effects badge and allow it to dry. External controls can be mounted internally as here at Wilson Effects we are all about options. As mentioned above the pedal is designed with an output buffer integrated into the circuit. This not only allows the pedal to deal with the low input impedance of most fuzz & overdrive pedals but it also allows you to boost or cut the output of the pedal via the internal volume trimmer. This comes in very handy when adjusting the resonance control as this will boost or cut the gain of the pedal allowing you to adjust it specifically to your needs. The internal sweep trimmer is designed to take the place of the resistor across the inductor of the wah circuit. What this does is dial in the sweep range of the pedal. The greater the resistance the greater the amount of sweep you are able to attain. Dialing this back to zero will result in a loss of wah effect in the pedal. The mid-range control controls the amount of mids within the wah circuit. Dialing this control towards the heal will thin out the sound and dialing it towards the front will thicken it up. This comes set to a stock value of 1.5K which is the norm for most classic wah circuits. The resonance control otherwise known as the growl control adjusts the frequency response or resonance of the pedal. Dialing this towards the hell of the pedal will result in a darker throatier sound. Dialing this control towards the front of the pedal will result in a thinner brighter wah sound. The pedal has no internal battery option due to the space inside of the enclosure. You can use an industry standard 2.1mm center negative power supply to run the pedal. The minimum milliamp recommendation is 100ma.

All Used and Vintage items come with a 48 hour approval period. Please contact us directly at email@example.com within 48 hours of receiving your product for us to set up a manual return for you. Be sure to include your order number and reason for return in the email. All Used/Vintage items must be returned in the same condition they were sent to you in, as well as include all materials that came with it.
All returns should be insured by the buyer and sent via UPS, Fedex, or USPS with tracking. Please do not write on or attach tape or labels to the product box (these will be refused) -- use a packing box to return the product. Attach a shipping label with the RMA number onto the shipping box. Packages without a valid RMA number on the outside of the box will be refused.

When will I get my refund?
Once your return is received by us, your refund will typically be processed within 10-15 business days. It typically takes a few business days for all credit card refunds to be processed and reflected on your statement. This means it will take a few extra days for your refund to show in your account after your return is processed. Please note: All actual shipping fees paid by Prymaxe will be deducted from your refund. This includes orders that qualified for free or subsidized shipping. Return shipping must be paid by the buyer. If you received a defective or incorrect item, please see the next question.
What if I receive a defective or incorrect item?
If a product is defective upon arrival, or the wrong item was received, all the shipping fees will be covered by us and we will give you a full refund on the original order. You can choose to place the second order immediately (for faster processing), or you can wait until you receive your refund. For defective items, Prymaxe reserves the right to refuse the return if we determine the reason for the unit failing was not covered under the warranty (i.e., if the item was damaged due to user fault or error). If you feel your item was damaged in shipping, please take plenty of pictures of the damaged box and item and immediately contact us so we can open a claim with the shipping company.
Please be very diligent with testing your defective item. Be sure to try other guitars, power supplies, cables, and amps. We also request that you take a video of the item not working. If we receive your item, test it, and find it to be working, we will give you a refund minus the cost of shipping both ways.
When must I ship my return?
Your return must be received by us within 45 days of the original purchase date. This means you must ship your return with enough time for us to receive the package within 45 day deadline. If it does not arrive within 45 days, we will refuse the package. If you feel you sent the package within a reasonable time frame, but it arrived late due to the shipping company’s error, please immediately contact us to make an appeal before we refuse the package.
What if I pre-ordered an item?
Even if you pre-ordered an item, we must still receive it within 45 days of your order date in order to give you a refund, so please try to only pre-order items you plan to keep. If the pre-ordered item arrives outside of the 45 day window from when you ordered it, you will have 7 days from the arrival date to send it back for store credit (minus original shipping cost) or a replacement.
